A proof of concept (PoC) as part of a test installation makes it possible to test a solution under real conditions in your own SAP system. The software is installed in a clearly defined environment and tested using selected processes and scopes with your own data. The aim is to transparently evaluate functions and practical benefits.
This makes it clear how well the solution integrates into existing processes, what concrete added value it offers in day-to-day work and what optimization or savings potential is realistic. In addition, a proof of concept provides important insights for the subsequent introduction: processes can be sharpened, requirements specified and internal responsibilities clarified at an early stage. At the same time, there is clarity about the technical and organizational effort involved and what a gradual expansion to other processes or areas of the company could look like.
