The pharmaceutical company of the Dr. Wolff Group from Bielefeld also opts for top MES from top flow GmbH.

top flow GmbH, the specialist for SAP add-on software solutions, has gained another customer from the pharmaceutical industry with Dr. August Wolff GmbH & Co. The company from Bielefeld is part of the pharmaceutical division of the family-run Dr. Wolff Group.
The aim is to bring more transparency to the production process, particularly in the areas of production and packaging, and also to visualize processes and individual services for individual employees in a timely manner.

With the SAP-integrated application from top flow GmbH, production statuses, outputs and costs are updated and made transparent in real time in SAP ERP. The vertical integration ranges from the weighing processes of the raw material weighing to direct communication with the machine controls of the packaging systems.
“The decisive factor in choosing the solution from top flow was not only the interface-free integration capability in SAP, but also the manufacturer’s pharmaceutical-specific experience,” explains Gisbert Brockbals, IT Manager at Dr. Wolff.

“Another interesting aspect of top MES is the possibility of using the solution company-wide,” continues Gisbert Brockbals.
The majority of the divisions at Dr. August Wolff GmbH & Co. KG Arzneimittel already work with SAP. With the planned extension to production, the final central building block for full ERP use in the company’s IT architecture is being implemented. As part of this changeover, the company is also relying on the executive functions of an MES (Manufacturing Execution System), in this case top MES.
