A mother-child group for the BuKi House in Romania

top flow supports the BuKi-Haus

For many years, Heidi Haller and Stefan Zell from Bad Saulgau have been committed to helping Roma children with their BuKi House in the small community of Cidreag in north-western Romania. The girls and boys, who grow up in poverty and are barely integrated into the community, not only receive breakfast and lunch there. They also receive educational support after school. A good chance for a better future!

Last year, the project was on the brink of collapse. The landlord wanted to sell the building. And he finally did. However, to the BuKi association, which was able to raise the agreed price thanks to the support of top flow. The Roma children of Cidreag will therefore continue to have a place where people look after them.

A mother-child group is now also to be set up – because the earlier a start is made with sound care, the more can be achieved for each individual. The necessary renovations have already been carried out in the building in recent months, and a kitchenette and oven have been installed. It could start. But so far, there has not been enough money to hire a childcare worker with the necessary socio-educational training.

That is why we have decided to cover the salary of the childcare worker for the coming year. Because we are convinced that this will make a big difference. The fact that we are acting in the interests of our employees, customers and business partners with this commitment is confirmed time and again by their positive feedback. They think it is the right decision to do without presents at Christmas and use the money for a social project.

We would like to thank them all!
