HCM Annual Event 2025 – A look back
Exchange, practice and perspectives for SAP HR in transition.
This year’s OSC Annual Conference (HCMJV25 ) took place in Scharbeutz on November 6 and 7, 2025 – and we were there again this year!
Under the motto “Ready for Change – SAP HR on the move”, HR experts, SAP specialists, customers and partner companies gathered for two days full of practical reports, specialist presentations and discussions on the digital transformation in HR.
Focus topic: HR in transition – between HCM, SuccessFactors and S/4HANA
As usual, HCMJV25 offered an exciting mix of strategic impulses, technical insights and concrete implementation experiences.
The focus was on questions such as:

How to make the switch from SAP HCM to the cloud or S/4HANA?

What role do SuccessFactors play in HR digitization?
-
How can compliance, data protection and co-determination be reconciled with modern technology?

Which best practices from practice can be transferred to your own projects?
Presentations, discussions and talks made it clear that the digital HR transformation is more than just a change in technology – it is a cultural and organizational change.
Our contribution: Practical report with Stadtwerke Flensburg
We were particularly pleased to contribute a practical presentation together with our customer, Stadtwerke Flensburg.
Sven Lassen & Monique Tyran gave an impressive account of how the works council was involved in the introduction of the digital personnel file right from the start and how this close cooperation played a decisive role in its successful implementation.
The presentation focused on:
✅ Reasons for the introduction: data protection, lack of space, working from home and electronically supported tax audits (euBP), which will be mandatory from 2027
✅ Legal basis & co-determination according to § 87 BetrVG
✅ Data protection-compliant implementation in SAP incl. deletion concepts, logging and access controls
✅ Group works agreement as the basis for transparency and clear responsibilities
✅ Practical tips for working with the works council to promote acceptance among employees
Much more than just lectures: Exchange at eye level
In addition to the technical program, the OSC Annual Conference 2025 offered, as always, many opportunities for networking and personal exchange, whether at the exhibition stands, during the evening program or in the breaks between presentations.
We were able to hold numerous exciting discussions, refresh contacts and gain new perspectives on the challenges and opportunities of HR transformation.

Impulses, exchange and a spirit of optimism.
HCMJV25 showed once again how much potential there is in HR systems – but also how important it is to think about people, processes and technology together.
